adidas organises running event in collaboration with virtual reality technology for first time |
On March 16, adidas organised Recode Running Festival at the Saigon Outcast entertainment venue, attracting hundreds of runners and celebrities, including models Minh Tu and Mau Thuy, Miss Mai Phuong Thuyand actress Diem My 9X.
The festival was the first ever in Vietnam to use virtual reality technology for its challenges. Notably, through the District application, runners were challenged for numerous games, including Pass By (where runners had to visit a position marked on the map), Scan (taking a photo at the selected spot), Mental (answering questions while running), and Time Trial (runners had to complete the run within a set time).
With this activity, adidas aimed to change people’s minds about running, showing them that it is not only a sport for athletes but a wonderful personal fitness activity and a fitting activity for everyone.
Recode Running Festival called on celebrities and young people who have a passion for sports and sneaker lovers to enjoy the running track, have fun, and share exciting moments while training.
