More than 1,500 engineers from power corporations under Vietnam Electricity (EVN) are supporting the construction of the circuit-3 500kV Quang Trach-Pho Noi transmission line.

The line must be completed in June to ensure electricity supply to the north this summer.

With such little time left, EVN mobilised around 120 teams with more than 1,500 engineers on May 30 from all corners of the country to accelerate its construction.

Do Nguyet Anh, chairwoman of the Board of Members of Northern Power Corporation, said, "We understand the urgency of the situation and take our responsibility for the country's energy security seriously."

Nguyen Anh Tuan, general director of Hanoi Power Corporation, said, "We greatly appreciate the willingness of our team to support this project by preparing materials, equipment, and a plan to allocate resources in a way that will ensure the quality and progress of the project and the safety and health for all involved."

Southern Power Corporation's Safety Department deputy head Nguyen Binh Trung said, "After meeting with the team, we requested them to complete their tasks with the utmost determination. We calculated detailed construction scenarios, anticipated difficulties, and provided detailed solutions."

Additional engineers of Central Power Corporation are assigned to arrive in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, and Thanh Hoa provinces to work alongside the on-site crews to accelerate the construction of the project so that the column erection will be completed before June 20.
