The opening ceremony was a vibrant, delightful celebration for both children and parents. The indoor and outdoor play areas of the school are accessible to students. The children spent the morning engaging in creative activities such as working with clay, creating group paintings, and engaging in sensory play with the 'light & shadow room' and intriguing classroom objects.
Michelle Dinh-Jones, educational director of the school said, “With a play-based, child-led, and Reggio-inspired educational methodology, we observe and listen to children's interests and curiosity. The teacher will support the children in their journey of playing and learning. We've followed this approach for 28 years in our first school, and the results are truly amazing - children learn faster, naturally absorbing new things. Research on early education has also proven that play is one of the most effective ways of learning.”
Through each and every aspect of the event, the school's dedication to sustainable development and environmental stewardship is also evident. All of the event's decorations are handcrafted by the school's teachers using familiar and reusable materials such as fabric ribbons, fresh flowers, and colourful paper.
The instructors also provided presents, including basic yet unique toys, such as playdough produced from natural materials and purple bamboo dragonflies, a childhood staple in Vietnam.
The event reinforced the mission and vision of System's Little House International Kindergarten: "We believe that every child has potential and should be nurtured in an environment where they are loved and given the opportunity to flourish."
The ceremony represented a significant milestone in the school's progress after 28 years of existence, owing to an investment from Dragonfly Education Group, which owns Apollo Vietnam.
System's Little House International Kindergarten is dedicated to providing a child-centred, high-quality learning environment and child-centred teaching techniques to affluent parents who want to invest in their children's early childhood education.
Crucial factors when choosing a kindergarten The first six years of a child’s life are crucial since this is the phase when children develop key physical, language, cognitive, cognition, and emotional skills. Thus, parents should consider an educational environment which is not only secure but also brings children valuable experiences as well as unleashes their utmost competencies. |
