Leaders of BIM Group, Regent Phu Quoc, and IHG Hotels & Resorts were on hand at the opening ceremony

Hosting the ribbon-cutting ceremony last month, Regent Phu Quoc is the first resort from IHG Hotels & Resorts under its upper luxury brand in Southeast Asia that promises serenity and unexpected harmony with a touch of decadence. The brand’s luxury legacy has been transformed with today’s most seasoned travellers in mind to deliver the serene and sensational at every turn.

Located off the southwest coast of Vietnam alongside a UNESCO-designated World Biosphere Reserve, the all-suites-and-villas resort is a stone’s throw from the water’s edge along Long Beach. Exceptional design and state-of-the-art technology will be delivered alongside the brand’s legendary hospitality for a seamless guest journey.

Designed by BLINK Design Group, Regent Phu Quoc features 176 suites and 126 villas that echo traditional Vietnamese vernacular and contemporarily designed interiors with a soothing colour palette. Expansive windows and verandas invite natural light in, transforming suites and villas into light, airy private havens complemented by views of landscaped gardens or panoramic ocean scenes.

Regent Phu Quoc is delighted to unveil its “Spellbinding Discovery” package with room rates from $361 onwards, available online for stays from now to July 14, introducing the timeless island retreat filled with natural beauty and endless possibilities to witness a legend reborn on Phu Quoc.

Guests of Regent Phu Quoc will enjoy a range of exceptional features as part of the elevated experience including chauffeured arrival and departure transfers, early check-in from 8am and late check-out up to 8pm, breakfast at Rice Market, a complimentary Refreshment Library of drinks and snacks, and three pieces of laundry and pressing daily as part of a minimum two-night stay.

A number of exclusive privileges will complement the experience including selecting from either an intimate beachfront four-course dinner with aperitifs; dining in front of the serene waterfront backdrop of Long Beach; a 90-minute signature spa treatment; an indulgent in-room champagne breakfast; champagne and canapes to enjoy over sunset; and delicious 3-course seafood lunch with wine at Ocean Club.

“We are delighted to introduce Regent’s renowned hospitality to Vietnam and look forward to welcoming guests to experience the inimitable island jewel that is Phu Quoc,” said Juan Losada, general manager. “Regent Phu Quoc will surely be a brand-defining resort in Vietnam and Southeast Asia that will deliver a truly captivating interpretation of the Regent experience, marrying the calming, the imaginative, and the extravagant.”

Creative indoor and outdoor event spaces will provide unique locations for meetings, social gatherings, and weddings. The Regent Phu Quoc’s wedding programmes, in particular, will encompass tailor-made experiences in an intimate setting with spectacular views.
