Photographic Contest-Heritage Journey 2015 announces the third qualification round

Hosted by the Heritage Magazine, the “Heritage Photo Tour 2015” as part of the Photographic Contest – Heritage Journey 2015 finds out the best photos to grant prizes at its third qualification round.

At this qualification round, photographer Pham Hoai Thanh has received the highest award his set of photos depicting the beauty of people at work while author Pham Anh is hornoured the first prize for his photo of clother washing in Pho Cao spring. At a while the Top Three awards include two sets of photos of Nguyen Phu Duc with his pictures of historical heritage sites and Nguyen Thanh Duy with the colour of the sea. For single Top 3 photo prizes, Nguyen Anh Tuan with Sky reflection” and Pham Anh’s “Sunrise on Tinh Gia sea”.

Responding to the National Tourist Year 2015 and the acknowledgement of the Trang An complex in Ninh Binh province by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site – the first mixed Heritage Site in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, Heritage Magazine has launched new programme titled "Heritage Photo Tour 2015"as part of the Photographic Contest –Heritage Journey 2015.

The Heritage photo tour covers four World Heritage sites in the north, including Thang Long Royal Citadel (Hanoi), Halong Bay (Quang Ninh province), Trang An (Ninh Binh province) and Ho Fortress (Thanh Hoa province). Heritage Magazine cooperates with the United Nations Education, Sciences and Culture Organisation, the Club of World Cultural and Natural Heritages in Vietnam, and the Managing Board of World Heritages in Vietnam to host this programme.

Participants are journalists and photographers with experience in photo journalism in the subjects of Heritage, Tourism and Culture, as well as those who have cooperated with media units, the press and photographic and tourist publications over the past two years. Preference will be given to photographers who have won international and domestic photo awards; awards in the Heritage Journey contests and participants who have cooperated with Heritage Magazine.
