As Vietnam’s first One Stop Shoppertainment mall, it brings together hundreds of top domestic and international retail brands, promising to elevate the local shopping experience to global standards.
Ahead of its opening, Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City has unveiled a line up of retail partners, featuring a host of renowned names from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Denmark. Nearly 90 per cent of these are major international players, a testament to the mall’s growing appeal in an increasingly globalised Vietnamese retail landscape.
Among the most notable is Flying Tiger Copenhagen, the Danish lifestyle brand known for creatively designed household items and gifts, set to bring a fresh breeze to the local interior and gifting market. Other confirmed brands include Mr. DIY (Malaysia), a household goods giant famed for competitive prices; Oh!Some, a lifestyle brand popular across Asia; and Kohnan Japan, a Japanese retailer specialising in home and utility goods, all poised to meet the daily needs of Ocean City residents and surrounding communities.

In the fashion and sportswear segment, popular brands such as MLB, Skechers, and Crocs cater to the active, flexible lifestyles of younger generations and modern families. From everyday outfits to statement sneakers and accessories, the fashion line up at Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City is expected to become a go-to shopping hub for residents of east Hanoi.
A major highlight is the arrival of AEON, the leading Japanese retail group, with its comprehensive department store and supermarket format. AEON’s participation reinforces the project’s operational excellence and credibility, and ensures a diverse, trustworthy supply of imported goods for local consumers.
Even more distinctive is the presence of Aquafield, the high-end wellness and sauna brand from South Korea. For the first time in Vietnam, Aquafield is integrating a premium spa experience within a shopping mall. Spanning nearly 4,000 square metres, it offers an urban oasis for rest and recovery, not only for mall-goers, but also for city dwellers seeking daily relaxation.
More than just a shopping destination, Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City is also shaping up to be a new gastronomic hotspot, welcoming a wave of celebrated Korean food and beverage (F&B) names, a country known for its growing influence on Asia’s culinary trends.
Making its debut within the Vincom system is De Baek Je, a Korean BBQ chain recognised for its traditional service style, signature marinades, and ingredients imported directly from Korea. Designed for family gatherings and young food lovers, De Baek Je offers an authentic Korean BBQ experience in a contemporary setting.
A standout newcomer is Songsabu, the beloved street donut chain frequently found in Seoul’s shopping districts and subway stations. Its arrival at Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City also marks its official entry into the Vietnamese market.
Complementing these Korean debuts are a slew of local favourites beloved by young Vietnamese consumers, including Phuc Long, Highlands Coffee, Oh Bing Su, Cha Panda, and Wau Haus. The dynamic mix of local and international F&B brands is set to create a diverse culinary ecosystem that satisfies all tastes and lifestyles.
A representative of Wau Haus, a popular burger and coffee chain from Ho Chi Minh City, shared the brand’s reasoning for choosing this as their first northern Vietnam location. "We see Ocean City as a magnet for young, trend-conscious residents who are open to new experiences. Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City checks all the boxes, prime location, large scale, and the right customer profile, making it the ideal choice for Wau Haus to enter the northern market."
Vincom Mega Mall Ocean City is not only expanding the retail-entertainment map in east Hanoi, but is also being hailed by experts and consumers as one of the most anticipated commercial destinations of 2025. More than a mall, it aspires to introduce a new consumer paradigm, where shopping centres evolve into dynamic ecosystems that respond to the diverse needs of urban youth.
