Vietnamese-German DJ to release video in Vietnam

Vietnamese-German DJ and producer Chi Thanh, a Grammy nominee, will release his latest music video (MV) featuring deep house in Vietnam this month.

The MV, Missing You Remix, sends messages about love and peace.

It is a production between Thanh and his partner, Vietnamese-Australian musician and composer Thanh Bùi, who has opened a music school in HCM City.

Thanh, who lives in Berlin, is a professional player in piano, guitars and drums.

He was a nominee for the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock for his song Lipstick.

The song is performed by Alejandra Guzman.

He has worked with talented composers and singers such as Desmond Child, P.Diddy and Duran Duran, and has produced music for pop stars Madonna, Britney Spears and Usher.

Thanh has also remixed music for famous bands Lana Del Rey, Metronomy, Booka Shade and The Gossip.

He was listed in the Top 10 of the “best-selling artists” in 2014 in Germany.

Thanh will organise a seminar about music for young people at HCM City’s SOUL Convention Complex on July 14, as part of his campaign to launch the MV Missing You Remix.
