In 2024, with the continuous development and transformation of the global economy, smart manufacturing has become the key driving force to foster economic growth. In this context, Vietnam, as a new production link in Asia, is playing an increasingly important role in the global smart manufacturing supply chain.
Hence, VGMF2024 aims to create a platform for exchanging and reporting recommendations for government agencies, and a playground for exchanges between associations, domestic producers, foreign-invested enterprises, and global supply chains. The forum will focus on discussing the latest technology, new industry trends, the policy environment, investment opportunities, and how to find ways to cooperate and develop in the new global economic context.
VGMF2024 will introduce the latest technology and business models, and act as a catalyst to promote smart production cooperation between Vietnam and manufacturing countries such as the United States, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and China.
Le Anh Dung, general director of A+ Industrial JSCO, said, "Experts and investors will discuss new trends and developments of the smart manufacturing industry, creating a new overall picture for the smart manufacturing industry in Vietnam and the world."
“Through this forum, participants will jointly explore how smart manufacturing can be used to promote economic growth, enhance industrial competitiveness and contribute to development goals. In addition, the forum will also discuss how to seek common development opportunities and achieve mutually beneficial results in the current international context, especially in the context of continued global production investment flows," Dung shared.
The forum will consist of two main sessions. The topic of session one will be smart manufacturing, intellectual products, and technology and innovation, and experts, policymakers, and businesses will discuss Vietnam's favourable position in globalisation and its policy of supporting foreign investment to promote the comprehensive development of its manufacturing industry.
The second session will be themed "manufacturing technology, global supply chain". This will allow businesses to introduce and update the most advanced technologies in smart manufacturing.
After the forum, the organising committee will continue to connect investors with domestic manufacturers to strengthen cooperation and investment.
