Vietnam Airlines offers special airfare to UK

Vietnam Airlines on Tuesday launched a promotion programme for passengers who travel on the new-generation Boeing 787-9 on flights from Ha Noi or HCM City to London, the UK.

Accordingly, from August 18 to September 1, 2015, passengers will have the opportunity to purchase round-trip airfare with preferential prices (excluding taxes and fees) ranging between VND7.6 million (US$350) and VND38.5 million (about $1,800).

The promotion will apply to flights departing from September 1-22 this year.

The national flag carrier is conducting flights to the UK five times each week, including three between Ha Noi and London and two between HCM City and London.

On Sunday, Vietnam Airlines officially received the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the first of its kind in the airliner's fleet of new-generation airplanes.
