The central theme of the Trust and Use Awards 2020 programme is "Fire Test Gold – Challenge to create resilience". The evaluation and voting criteria focus on products and services that have overcome the difficulties and barriers of COVID-19 to rise up, seek new opportunities, and bring customers a good experience, and are favoured and appreciated by consumers. Awardees included brands with efficient digital transformation and cashless payments.
During the 10 months from January to November 2020, 6,790 products and services were nominated, the Organizing Committee also received 29,340 votes, 79,280 online evaluation of products and services of six major industry groups include: finance, banking and insurance; food, beverage, and retail services; household products, interior, and exterior, real estate; healthcare-beauty; transportation, resort and culinary group; education, technology, and telecommunications group.
In the list of Top 10 products and services voted by consumers are FPT Telecom JSC, Vietinbank, Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Minh Long JSC, Masan Meatlife JSC, Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Lock & Lock Ho Chi Minh Co., Ltd., Lazada Vietnam, Flamingo Dai Lai Resort JSC, and Yuanta Securities Co., Ltd.

The list of enterprises in the Top 100 products and services voted by consumers had many impressive names in the past year such as TH Food Chain Corporation, SeABank, Grab, Windsor Plaza Hotel, and ORFARM (Thuy Thien Nhu JSC.).
Disease creates systemic risks that affect all actors in the economy, especially retail businesses. The pandemic has affected most businesses but the opportunity has not completely disappeared and not all retailers face the same difficulty. The results of the Top 100 Trust and Use Awards 2020 products and services is an evidence that retailers adapt to e-commerce sales, have good customer care services and quality products then the amount will still grow despite the disease.
The Trust and Use Awards is organised annually by Vietnam Economy Magazine under the Vietnam Economic Association since 2006 to select products, goods, and services on the Vietnamese market that are favoured and selected by consumers. In addition to the participation of ministries and agencies in Vietnam, the programme also attracted representatives from business associations, economic experts, and representatives from 200 Vietnamese businesses and consumers to participate.
