Taste 1,000 dishes from around the world at Food Fest 2017

Tickets for Food Fest 2017, the biggest gastronomy and entertainment event ever in Hanoi, are available for purchase online starting March 21.

The event, which is going to be held on a 3,000-square metre site at Vincom Royal City square on April 7, 8 and 9, aims to promote the Vietnamese food and entertainment scene to domestic and international guests.

300 restaurants and brands will join, displaying 1,000 dishes including Vietnamese dishes and international dishes with a Vietnamese influence, and 200 drinks.

There will be a cooking contest judged by MasterChef Junior judge Jack Lee, among others, competitive eating and drinking contests, a master chef show, in which participants have a chance to watch and taste food made by chef Jack Lee, a bartender show, and a wine show, besides many other exciting activities.

There will also be music performances from young famous Vietnamese artists that have received regional awards such as Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi, Son Tung M-TP and winners of Vietnam Idol Nhat Thuy, Trong Hieu and Janice Phuong.

The event is expected to attract about 30,000 participants.

VIET Management Consulting Group is the main organiser, with the support from companies including restaurant reservation and food ordering app Foodizzi, ceramic and porcelain ware producer Minh Long, water filter producer Kangaroo and wine distributor Da Loc.

VietinBank will sponsor the point of sale machine at all stalls at the event. Grab Vietnam will sponsor customers’ car trip to the event with the code CODE, which will give each participant VND100,000 off their trip.
