“A global brand with good knowledge about local culture, Nestlé Vietnam always puts transparency and obedience of Vietnamese legal documents, particularly tax payment obligations, at our top priority,” said Johana Wiriadinata, Finance and Control director at Nestlé Vietnam.
“We are committed to further supporting the efforts to improve tax management efficiency through applying a tax-related risk management system and redesigning IT application and business process the tax sector is currently deploying,” she added.
Johana noted that despite a very challenging 2020, the company had scaled up efforts to complete its budget contribution target.
Aside form tax payments, the company has paid due regard to the fields that bring benefits where it counts most for the society, including nutrition, focusing on children; playing role in shaping thriving communities; and ensuring sustainable development in the countryside and management of natural resources in the future.

In addition, Nestlé Vietnam has engaged in projects providing sustainable farming practice and coffee tree re-cultivation for more than 230,000 coffee farmers in Vietnam’s Central Highlands provinces.
Nestlé Vietnam is operating four factories in Vietnam (three based in Dong Nai province) employing more than 2,300 labourers. Until now, the company’s investment value in Vietnam has surpassed $600 million and it was recognised as one of the foreign invested businesses with important contributions to Vietnam’s sustainable and inclusive development.
