The "Energise children going back to school" programme reflects Nestlé MILO's constant efforts to provide nutrition and nurture a generation of active and healthy Vietnamese children.
During the first week of school, teachers were asked to give each student a set of 115ml Milo drinks as well as medical masks. Around 150,000 of these gift sets were distributed to children in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Meanwhile, the programme offers attractive promotions at supermarkets nationwide on a single day, February 19.
With each purchase, customers will receive a set of 115ml Milo drinks free of charge to energise their children. In addition, parents can register as a member on Nestlé MILO's website to receive a gift from the brand if they cannot attend the programme at supermarkets.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, president of Phong Phu Primary School in Thu Duc said, "For a long time, online learning has constrained children's learning and playing experience, making parents worried. Children need to be able to freely exercise to develop physically, as well as contact the outside world on a daily basis to nurture emotions and personalities. I highly appreciated Nestlé MILO's efforts to bring innovative and pleasant experiences for kids."
Binu Jacob, managing director of Nestlé Vietnam said, "Accompanying teachers and schools on this special occasion is one of the outstanding activities that Nestlé MILO has implemented since the beginning of 2022. This also reflects what we have been aiming for in nearly 30 years of development in Vietnam: upholding the role of nutrition and exercise along with true learning and fun experiences. In all contexts, Nestlé MILO strives to understand the thoughts and aspirations of parents as well as standing by their sides to contribute to the well-rounded development of Vietnamese children.”
The programme also marks Nestlé MILO's second donation to children after a long break caused by the pandemic. In May 2020, over 2 million bottled drinks had been granted to students nationwide to empower them to return to schools.
Nestlé MILO has assisted parents across Vietnam to help their children's learning and playing experience at home during the social distancing period in the past two years.
The brand has implemented campaigns to encourage students to maintain physical activities and positive energy during online learning at home.
Nestlé MILO will continue to participate in sports sponsorship activities in the future to bring helpful and practical playgrounds for developing an active and healthy Vietnamese generation.
Nestlé Vietnam and the Vietnam Students' Sports Association under the MoET have inked an MoU on school sports cooperation for the 2022-2026 period.
Nestlé Vietnam, notably the Nestlé MILO brand, will be the programme's main sponsor with a total contribution of up to $1.66 million, which would include cash, uniforms, and nutritious Nestlé products.
