Khanh Hoa pioneers digital transformation of health networks

OneClinic Co., Ltd., in collaboration with A.Yersin Investment & Technology JSC and the Medical Practitioner Association of Khanh Hoa province, jointly held a workshop on digital transformation in the management of private clinics and community health networks on May 19. The event attracted the participation of local authorities and nearly 100 private clinics in the province.

Addressing the workshop, Colonel Dr. Tran Van Thuan, director of the Military Software Park and chairman of the Centre for Digital Transformation & Technology Application ASP said, “There is no common platform for managing medical information in the examination and treatment network at either private or public community clinics. The application of IT in some areas of the province is still fragmented and many places still store information manually, leading to a negative impact on the quality and efficiency of community healthcare and management”.

At the event, OneClinic proposed IT solutions for a clinic management system with a two-way connection to personal health records, helping to increase operational efficiency.

It is more convenient for doctors to build and use specialised medical records and patients can self-monitor their health and see their treatment status.

From a management perspective, the provincial Department of Health can use the PowerBI Dashboard to get information about community health care and management.

The company recently received the blockchain-secured and document-based electronic medical records system approval from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its Electronic Medical Records solution.

The representative of OneClinic also shared about supporting the digital transformation of healthcare in Khanh Hoa province with the proposal to cooperate in the building of safe tourism and medical services for foreign tourists.

Along with the clinic management solution and electronic medical records are the integration of payment services, hospital fee guarantee policy, and pharmacy network, ensuring convenience for patients and improving the quality of medical services for the community.

The project implemented in Khanh Hoa aims to help promote access and training in the healthcare industry by applying IT with the advanced CICC framework, thereby contributing to the digital transformation of both local and national services.
