IDICO is currently investing in and managing 11 industrial parks (IPs) throughout Vietnam with a total land area of nearly 3,900 hectares. The group has also received approval for IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP in Tien Giang province, covering an area of 470 hectares. The project will implement green solutions focused on minimising environmental impact and achieving sustainable development goals aligned with environmental, social, and governance principles.

For over two decades, IDICO’s development has been closely linked to the growth of Vietnam’s economy, in particular the advancement of the industrial sector. Following the direction of sustainable development, the company says it puts its people at the heart of its business and unity at the core of its corporate culture and governance.

IDICO’s commitment to sustainable development is evident in its ongoing initiatives. With the shift of manufacturers from China and the diversification of clients’ needs, IDICO recognises the importance of flexibility in its products and services to attract investors. The company is also increasingly focusing on green development, a priority for local governments and financial backers.

The company is dedicated to sustainable development, continuously improving operational efficiency, emphasising environmental protection, and optimising energy use. It has also been building modern wastewater treatment plants in its IPs, ensuring the quality of materials discharged into the environment according to current standards.

Furthermore, IDICO has been implementing rooftop solar systems into its design of ready-built factories and is encouraging businesses in its parks to deploy solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, striving to help achieve Vietnam’s 2050 net-zero targets.

Meanwhile, in transitioning Phu My II and Phu My II Expansion IPs from traditional to eco-IPs, IDICO is promoting industrial symbiosis to optimise resource and energy use, reduce waste, and maximise the use of recycled materials.

The implementation of smart IP monitoring platforms allows efficient management and energy use, enhancing operational efficiency and minimising environmental impact.

IDICO is also focusing on building residential areas for experts and other workers at its IPs, offering comprehensive infrastructure services and establishing a sustainable, self-contained ecosystem, while also ensuring a safe living and working environment and contributing to optimal business performance.

Additionally, IDICO focuses on developing residential projects associated with IPs to provide adequate infrastructure services, meeting housing demands in the area, and developing the most sustainable closed ecosystem.

IDICO says it will continue to invest in exploring new land banks aligned with green and sustainable development goals in the upcoming time. It remains committed to improving the quality of lives for workers and contributing to local economic development, adhering to its pledge of “unity for a sustainable future”.

The pledge is a business principle that empowers the company to act and create positive values for its partners, people, the community, and the environment, heading towards a sustainable future.
