GELEX Tower achieves LEED Platinum certification

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification issued by the US Green Building Council is a fair and transparent rating system for green buildings.

In Vietnam, LEED is considered a symbol of pioneering and sustainability of a group of high-quality and modern office buildings. Currently, Vietnam has eight office buildings that have received LEED Platinum certification, Gelex Tower is 1one of three office buildings in Hanoi that have received this certification.

GELEX Tower has met the main evaluation criteria including: Location and Transportation; Building a sustainable development environment; Efficient use of water resources; Energy and emission efficiency; Materials and resources; Ensuring air quality and living environment in the building; as well as Innovation in Design.

GELEX Tower is an office building of the Investor GELEX, operated by Savills Vietnam.

Specifically, GELEX Tower controls and optimises the performance of system equipment to use electricity effectively, and manages water saving effectively. The exterior of the GELEX Tower building is installed with glass with good insulation and optimises the use of natural light to the offices. This design not only enhances workspace comfort but also significantly reduces energy consumption for cooling and lighting systems by leveraging daylight effectively.

In addition, GELEX Tower is arranged with suitable green space, equipped with a full fresh air supply system for all working spaces, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.

A representative of GELEX Group received the LEED Platinum green building certification.
