In 2023, the group will add three novel properties to its portfolio in Vietnam, namely Fusion Resort & Villas Danang, Fusion Suites Hanoi, and the brand-new HIIVE Binh Duong.
Christopher Hur, president of Lodgis Hospitality Holdings Pte., Ltd. – Fusion's parent company – said, “We are encouraged by the positive recovery signs for travel, as witnessed in our existing portfolio over the past six months or so.”
“This year, we remain sanguine on the further robust pick up in regional travel and tourism. As corporate and leisure travellers take to the skies more frequently, we are well-positioned to meet their needs with our diverse, distinct, and growing portfolio,” he added.
HIIVE Binh Duong, the first of three new facilities to welcome guests, is a newcomer to Fusion's already extensive collection of distinctive accommodation options.
HIIVE will be established around Vietnam's dynamic commercial and industrial areas to attract multinational corporate capital investment. The objective is to draw an increasing number of business travellers with a middle-management level of experience.
This contemporary 172-room hotel is centrally positioned in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and the broader Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan region. It provides a variety of business-oriented conference amenities and co-working areas. In addition, there is a golf simulator, a 24-hour fitness facility, and a sports bar for both work and leisure.
Fusion Resort & Villas Danang is a premier beachside resort that will launch this year in one of Vietnam's most prestigious locations.
This 242-room resort is scheduled to debut in the autumn of 2023 and will have four dining and entertainment options, as well as Fusion's distinctive spa amenities. The new resort will have 85 opulent individual villas with between one and six bedrooms. Each unit will have a distinctive open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful tropical garden with a private plunge pool.
The hotel's food and beverages options will include a beach front grill, a casual all-day dining restaurant, a poolside bar, and Fusion's breakfast anywhere, anytime concept, allowing guests to live in the present and not be restricted by time constraints. The Maia Spa & Wellness Centre is the focal point of the resort experience at Fusion, where guests can receive a complimentary daily treatment.
“Wellness is becoming a central guest priority at Fusion. It is, and always has been, part of who we are since our 2008 founding,” said Peter Meyer, CEO of Lodgis and Fusion Hotel Group.
“We were the first in Vietnam to launch an all-inclusive spa concept, and we are dedicated to creating wellness-inspired lodging products that are geared to our guests' wellbeing and health, whether their travel is for pleasure or work,” Meyer added.
Fusion is scheduled to make its debut in the capital in early 2024 with the opening of Fusion Suites Hanoi. The One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and the Presidential Palace will all be close to this new 238-room hotel, which will be part of a mixed-use complex and upscale retail centre.
Despite its urban setting, the property's decor will be influenced by nature, with an earthy colour palette, soothing teal tones, and warm wooden accents. Each room is to be equipped with a kitchenette and an in-room washer and dryer to accommodate prolonged stays. The larger guest suites will have living and dining spaces for your convenience. The hotel will have a complete spa and Japanese-style onsen, as well as a flagship Fresh restaurant to serve healthy alternatives and Fusion Favourites.
Meyer continued, “Our expansion is part of our group’s long-term goal of regionally establishing our unique brands. With our roots and established business in the nation, we will grow our presence in the country off the back of its macroeconomic growth and favourable demographics. Beyond Vietnam, we are aiming to grow our Thailand platform and expansion in Southeast Asia.”
Fusion manages 22 properties in Vietnam and Thailand and is growing to develop more hotels and resorts in both countries. In 2008, Fusion started with a single hotel in Vietnam and has since grown to 16 across the two nations.
