French film shot in Vietnam to be screened
French film Ciel Rouge (Red Sky), featuring Vietnamese landscapes, will hit Vietnamese cinemas in October 2017.

The movie was directed by Oliver Lorelle and stars French-Vietnamese actress Audrey Giacomini. They met with the Vietnamese audience at a premier screening of the film in Hanoi on June 28.
The film tells a love story between a young French soldier and a Vietnamese girl at the beginning of the Indochina War, with scenes of Ba Be Lake in Bac Kan province and Dong Van, Meo Vac districts of Ha Giang province.
It will be screened in France on July 19.
