COVID-19: 61 cases added to national tally on June 10 afternoon

The national tally of COVID-19 rose to 9,784 with 61 new cases detected in the past six hours to 6pm on June 10, two of which are imported and 59 are local infections, according to the Health Ministry.

Hanoi – The national tally of COVID-19 rose to 9,784 with 61 new cases detected in the past six hours to 6pm on June 10, two of which are imported and 59 are local infections, according to the Health Ministry.

Among the locally-transmitted cases, 23 are in Bac Giang, 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, 12 in Bac Ninh, and two each in Tien Giang and Ha Tinh.

On June 10, 72 patients were given the all-clear, raising the number of recoveries to 3,708. The death toll was 55.

Among active patients under treatment at hospital, 267 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 96 twice and 55 thrice.

Sixteen provinces have gone through 14 days without detecting new cases.
