Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2019 brought stakeholders together from across the globe to advance the development of the Vietnamese automotive industry

Participants gathered at the third edition of Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2019, a three-day show that is taking place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from February 28 to March. The show hosted 359 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions throughout 10,200 square metres of exhibition space.

This year, visitors saw a lot of overseas participation around the fairground. For example, there were pavilions from nine overseas countries and regions, offering their latest products, technology and expertise for the Vietnamese market. These included China, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, the Middle East, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, as well as Hong Kong, making for a particularly strong line-up this year.

Participating businesses showcased their latest products and technologies in various groups, including parts and components, electronics and systems, accessories and customisation, repair and maintenance, alternative drive systems and digital solutions, and motorcycles, among others.

Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City is one of 17 Automechanika fairs held in Africa, Asia, Europe and North, Central and South America.

Since the debut show in 2017, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City has quickly become a leading event for Vietnam by bridging the gap between local industry with international peers for unrivalled business connections, information exchanges, and educational opportunities.
