Distributed by Thaole Entertainment, Vietnamese audiences can expect a raft of local commissions that include Family Kitchen with Sherson (pictured), which showcases Malaysian celebrity cook Sherson Lian and his mother, Ann, as they dish family recipes; and Cooking for Love, which follows the network's Food Hero 2014 winner Sarah Benjamin and TV chef Nik Michael Imran as they compete to create innovative menus for family events.
The programs will begin airing on the channel in August and September, respectively.
The SCTV platform is to also broadcast a range of international series that include the dessert program Bake with Anna Olson; Restaurant Redemption, the restaurant makeover series starring Ching He Huang; and Reza: Spice Prince of Vietnam, a look into Vietnamese cuisines with host Reza Mahammad.
