In the past two years, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat has become an ideal meeting place for art enthusiasts through exhibitions and creative camps, connecting lovers of artistic beauty and promoting the development of Vietnamese painting.

Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort and Spa is an exhibition space that preserves the unique stories and spaces of a French heritage resort in the heart of Dalat. Le Lycée Artspace hopes to accompany and develop painting art movements in Vietnam.

This month, the villa is presenting the solo exhibition Nhin Lai by artist Bui Van Tuat, who has distinguished himself in the Vietnamese modern art scene through his works on the theme of the northern mountainous regions.

The exhibition presents more than 30 oil paintings in various sizes with the main theme of the compositions being portraits of children from the highland region.

One of the people who worked with artist Bui Van Tuat to organise the exhibition is Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han, who said, “This exhibition is the first with the theme of the people and landscapes of the northern province of Ha Giang to be organised in Dalat. We can easily see interesting commonalities in climate, people, and the idyllic landscapes between these two lands.”

“This is also a way for us, through the language of art and painting, to contribute to spreading the culture and beauty of the people among the regions and ethnic communities of Vietnam closer to each other,” Han added.
