AirAsia's first visitors landing on Cam Ranh airport

AirAsia's first flight from Bangkok (FD647) landed at Cam Ranh International Airport on May 1, taking 135 visitors and crew members to the coastal city of Nha Trang.

The event raised the number of flights from Cam Ranh to Bangkok from four to eight flights a week. The move not only provides a good opportunity for the south-central coastal region to welcome more tourists from Thailand and other countries in the region, but also helps locals to visit and discover Thailand, the Land of the Golden Pagoda with its unique temple architecture.

The event raised the number of flights from four to eight a week.

The Cam Ranh-Bangkok route was opened at the end of January by Bangkok Airways, with a frequency of four flights per week. Previously, visitors from Khanh Hoa to Bangkok had to transit in Ho Chi Minh City or fly with charter flights.

In particular, from now until September 30, 2019, AirAsia offers a promotional fare of only VND810,000 per person per trip ($35.2, including taxes and fees). Visitors can book tickets from now until May 5, 2019 on airasia.com and the AirAsia mobile app.

AirAsia is Malaysia's low-cost airline, currently flying to 130 destinations across the Asia-Pacific.
