Accompanying the training and development of human resources for the accountancy sector, the ACCA Futurist Scholarship Programme, held by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in Vietnam was officially launched in 2020.
ACCA Futurist 2022 supports and awards scholarship opportunities that are suitable to the learning level of the young Vietnamese generation, including an ACCA Scholarship and an FIA Scholarship.

This year, the programme awarded both full and partial scholarships for students majoring in economics, business management, accounting and auditing, and finance and banking at major universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi who desire to pursue an ACCA diploma. The full scholarships are worth $1,450 each, while the partial ones are valued at $400 each.
These scholarships have already included additional fees such as registration fees for account creations, and others. The full scholarship also includes fees for all nine basic courses of the ACCA Diploma. Furthermore, students are offered the opportunity to go directly to the final interview round of the internship programme at companion enterprises, such as KPMG, PwC, Techcombank, and Unilever.
On this occasion, the British Consul General also granted a scholarship to Bui Pham Minh Duy – a graduate student at Foreign Trade University Campus II – who won the future financial leader for the best composition. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee of ACCA’s first nine courses and the degree certificate accredited by ACCA and the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City with many other privileges.

Speaking at the event, Oliver Todd, the British consul general Ho Chi Minh City, commented, “We are very pleased to support the ACCA Futurist Scholarship Programme. With a focus on inspiring the next generation to pursue a career in the finance industry, we feel that the programme can advance the development of the Vietnamese economy by improving British educational support for the next Vietnamese generation.”
