The Swing for the Kids charity golf event returned on October 21 with the participation of nearly 250 golfers.
The 16th edition of the competition, hosted by Vietnam Investment Review, BRG Group, and SeABank, saw investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of international and domestic organisations and diplomatic agencies gather at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort in Son Tay, Hanoi to play golf and carry out many kind-hearted activities.
This year, along with the support from other familiar sponsors including Samsung Electronics Vietnam, Vingroup, Kinderworld, Sun Group, Bob Parsons, and Vietnam Beverages, the organising board was honoured to welcome new sponsors in Seven Stars Trading and Service Co., Ltd. and Vinamika Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Nguyen Thi Minh Khoa, director of uniform designers and production solutions group Vinamika Vietnam, said, "We are honoured to accompany the golf tournament and the charity fund for Vietnamese children organised by VIR. Although this is the first time Vinamika has had the opportunity to sponsor the event, we want to be a long-term companion with this meaningful programme to give wings to young Vietnamese talents in difficult situations."
The representative of hole-in-one sponsor Seven Stars shared that the company, under Nhat Hung Group, would sponsor two Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2WD vehicles worth VND1.13 billion ($47,600) for the event.
