A cultural festival for youth in Hanoi, Monsoon Music Festival targets to inspire and spread awareness of traffic safety among the youth via music. The next five-year goal of the event revolves around “Transportation Culture,” aiming to use music to change the traffic behaviour of Hanoians, especially that of the young people.

Along with domestic artists, the festival this year will witness an impressive gathering of international artists and music bands from Denmark, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Korea, Slovakia, Israel, and Estonia, with the great support from the Danish Embassy, the Israeli Embassy, Goethe Institute, and British Council in Vietnam.

As an annual music event held since 2014, Monsoon Music Festival is an ideal destination for music lovers and the those interested in culture and arts.

It has become an integral item on the schedules of music lovers in Hanoi. Every year, festival-goers get to see familiar faces who have become 'loyal' participants of the festival, including young guests coming to dance, families gathering and playing on the grounds of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and an old man dedicatedly taking his disadvantaged son to the festival every year. They all make Monsoon Music Festival an unforgettable experience.

“We want to make Monsoon Music Festival a new, iconic cultural event of Hanoi, which represents the new Vietnamese generation. Something we can all be proud of and introduce to our friends across the world with great passion and pride. Don't forget to visit Monsoon Music Festival while in Hanoi. We want you to join us on this journey to bring Monsoon Music Festival to the world," Quoc Trung, musician cum producer and director of Monsoon Music Festival, said.

Participants will not only have the opportunity to enjoy excellent musical performances and the elaborate settings, but also meet with music lovers from all generations to share their passion for music.
