Accordingly, the tickets are sold at VND292,000 VND (US$12.89)- VND484,000 (US$21.3) on Nha Trang-Hue route and 323,000 VND (US$14.2)-VND555,000 (US$24.5) on the return route.
Trains will depart from Nha Trang at 8:45 and arrive in Hue at 22:39. On the return, it will leave Hue station at 16:08 and come to Nha Trang station at 6:18.
Discount tickets are also applied for social beneficiaries and travel agents registering tourism promotion programme 2017.
Earlier, the VNR also announced its plan to run two rapid trains from Hanoi to the central city of Vinh from June 1, cutting travel time to only five and a half hours. Numerous promotional programmes will be held on the occastion.
From June 1 to August 31, the VNR will offer 2,000 tickets priced at VND10,000 (US$0.44), 72 hours prior to departing time.
In a bid to improve service quality and diversify products, the VNR will operate trains to tourist attractions like Cua Lo and Sa Pa from May, 2017.
In addition, it will provide free wifi at big stations to serve the passengers’ demand.
