Balade en France 2015 kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City

The goal of this event is to promote French culture through food, wine and various animations. After five successful editions, around 2000 people are expected to attend this two-night event. Last year around 1750 participants attended including 70 per cent of Vietnamese. This year’s event will take place from 6pm till 11pm on October 23 & 24, 2015 at the Hotel Equatorial in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, visitors will buy an entrance ticket that will grant them access to the event, where they are invited to enjoy a rich program of entertainments and activities. They will then be able to buy coupons worth VND20,000 ($0.9) each at one of the numerous points of sales, and exchange these tickets with food/beverage/desserts. Visitors will have the choice to eat and drink whatever they like amongst a prime selection of the finest restaurants and wine of Ho Chi Minh City. They will also have the opportunity to purchase some French products to take back home. The price of each product will vary
from VND20.000 to VND80.000 ($0.9 – $3.6).

Especially, the 6th edition of Balade of France aims to create a nice and cheerful atmosphere with the performance of three French bands based in Vietnam: The blues Buddies, Gwenilli, Peche à la mouche. Several magicians will walk through the room and surprise the guests with their tricks. The participants will also be able to bring back souvenirs from the event thanks to the lucky draw and the photo booth customized specially for this event or play game French wine tasting workshop with Sommelier.

Throughout the night, the attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy artistic activities with the presence of several cartoonists and a painter who will propose a live show. Thanks to the renewed participation of Poussière de Vie, an association supporting unprivileged kids in Vietnam, children will also spend a memorable evening discovering new tastes and enjoying plenty of games in the kids’ corner.
