Zedd lures 5,000 fans to first concert in Asia tour

Over 5,000 spectators showed up at the Zedd True Colors live concert of Grammy winning DJ/producer Zedd at Rach Chiec Golf Driving Range in HCMC’s District 2 last Friday night.

This was the opening concert of Zedd True Colors Tour in Asia which also takes in the Philippines, Thailand and Japan. The 26-year-old DJ made the crowd excited during his 120-minute performance of some world hits of Clarity, Beautiful Now, Stay The Night and I Want You To Know accompanied with special audio and visual effects. Especially, audiences had a chance to enjoy a fireworks display during Zedd’s gig.

Local and foreign DJs and artists like Le Trinh, D-Roc, Mark and PB Nation also contributed to the event. Especially, U.S. electronic music talent Haywyre had 45 minutes to play his unique fusion pieces of piano, jazz and electronica music.

This is Zedd’s second world tour after “Clarity Tour” in 2012 to promote his latest second album “True Colors” which was launched in May. Before his arrival in Vietnam, Zedd staged concerts in Las Vegas, Germany and Spain. After the Asia tour, he will perform in major cities in the U.S.
