Vietnam’s flagship vacation paradise showered with titles in World Travel Awards 2017

Specifically, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort set a first-time record in the history of world travel after it was announced as the winner of the World's Leading Luxury Resort 2017 for the fourth consecutive time. JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay was named the World’s Leading New Resort Spa and Asia’s Leading New Resort 2017 in the ceremony.

Surpassing numerous high-ranking resorts in the world, such as Four Seasons at Jumeirah Beach (Dubai), The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel (US) and Ayada (Maldives), InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort was showered with notable titles such as the World's Leading Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant 2017 for its La Maison 1888 restaurant, Asia's Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2017, and Asia's Leading Luxury Resort 2017.

In addition, surpassing other outstanding international resorts, such as Domes Noruz Chania, Autograph Collection (Greece), Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort (UAE), and Hurawalhi Island Resort, Milaidhoo Island (Maldives), JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay resort also secured the title of the World's Leading New Resort 2017 and Asia's Leading New Resort 2017.

Previously, the five-star resort picked up the prized titles of Asia’s Leading New Resort at World Travel Awards™ Asia & Australasia in June and Southeast Asia’s Top Luxury Emerging Spa at World Luxury Spa Awards in July.
