Vietnam puts six on Conde Nast Traveler list

The prestigious international travel magazine recently revealed the results of its annual Readers Choice Awards, with Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, MGallery La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa, Sofitel Saigon Plaza, and Park Hyatt Saigon making the “Top Hotels in Southeast Asia (excluding Bangkok and Singapore)” list and The Nam Hai and Anantara Hoi An resorts scoring places on the “Best Resorts in Asia” list.

As with last year, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was the highest-rated Vietnamese hotel (in third position), and The Nam Hai the highest rated Vietnamese resort (12th position).

More than 128,000 travelers took part in this year’s Readers Choice Awards - the highest in its 28-year history and up by more than 50,000 over last year.

Voting is conducted through a secure website, with responses tabulated by Equation Research. Readers evaluate candidates on a set of criteria using a standard five-point scale.

Properties had to receive a minimum number of responses to be eligible for an award.
