Hi1 Vietnam JSC launched Vietnam's first factory-to-consumer (F2C) e-commerce platform on December 11, designed to connect manufacturers directly with consumers without intermediaries or seller fees.

With the F2C model, Hi1 helps directly connect manufacturers with consumers without intermediaries. Hi1's special feature is its commitment to not charging seller fees, minimising intermediary costs, and thereby offering competitive prices to consumers. The platform will also provide shopping behaviour data, helping suppliers better understand market needs and improve products and sales strategies.

Nguyen Dung, chairman of Hi1 Vietnam, said, "Hi1 is not just a shopping platform, but a bridge between manufacturers and customers, helping optimise benefits for both sides. We hope Hi1 will be the top choice for Vietnamese consumers on their smart shopping journey."

Vietnam launches first F2C e-commerce platform

Hi1, a part of the smart eVIPcare System ecosystem, is an AI-driven e-commerce platform created to offer users a seamless and convenient shopping experience. AI technology supports personalised recommendations based on individual preferences and needs, helping users easily find suitable products. AI automatically provides 24/7 customer care, quickly addressing inquiries and supporting users during and after shopping.

Bui Thi Hanh Hieu, general director of Bao Minh Agricultural Processing Business JSC, shared that participating in AI-powered e-commerce platforms brings many practical benefits for businesses. “AI technology helps thoroughly measure and evaluate user effectiveness, from identifying customer segments to standardizing approach processes. This is a breakthrough that the company highly values, especially as AI allows the company to optimise distribution and marketing costs, delivering real value to consumers,” Hieu said.

Discussing Hi1's competitive advantages compared to other e-commerce platforms, Kieu Tien Anh, CEO of Hi1, said, "Unlike foreign e-commerce platforms, which typically limit themselves to a few product categories like fashion, cosmetics, and household items, Hi1 has significantly expanded its business scope, including specialised items such as OCOP items, craft village goods, and construction materials. While foreign platforms usually target low-price segments, common goods, and lesser-known brands, Hi1 focuses on products with higher added value. A striking difference is that foreign sites often lack rigorous input control and verification, causing significant consumer concerns, whereas Hi1 commits to providing a safe and reliable shopping experience."

Furthermore, Anh noted that foreign e-commerce platforms typically lack input control and verification, causing consumers to worry about product quality. Complicated warranty and return policies, high purchase risks, especially for high-value products like automobiles, real estate, or construction machinery, are segments these platforms can almost never access. Implementing buy-now-pay-later or instalment policies in Vietnam is also a major challenge for foreign e-commerce platforms, as most of these platforms concentrate on goods from China while failing to meet import product demands from South Korea, Japan, Europe, or the United States. In this context, Hi1 has chosen a strategy focusing on domestic products, with strict review processes, and simultaneously aiming to develop premium product lines to create competitive advantages.

Hi1 plans to expand cooperation with thousands of manufacturers nationwide and implement attractive incentive programmes to enhance user experience.
