According to a press conference on January 5, the ceremony to receive the UNESCO's recognition certificate will be organized at Ba Dinh Pagoda Conference Centre, in Hoa Lu and Gia Vien districts and Ninh Binh city in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
Other activities, including an international scientific seminar on the management, preservation and promotion of values of world heritage, a photo exhibition, a stamp collection release, a peace praying ceremony and art performances will also be organized.
Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Huu Binh highlighted the ceremony as the chance to introduce values of the complex as well as advertising the local tourism potentials to attract more domestic and foreign visitors.
These activities, in response to National Tourism Year- Thanh Hoa 2015, aim to raise people’s awareness and pride of cultural values, he added.
Earlier on June 25th, 2014, at the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee in Qatar, Trang An Landscapes Complex was recognized as a world heritage, becoming the first complex in Viet Nam and Southeast Asia receiving the status.
