The local people are very friendly. Visitors can take flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang to the Pleiku Airport, then take the bus for more than 40 km to Kontum. If you want to stay overnight in Kon Tum, you should book rooms in advance, at a price from VND150,000. Most of the tourist sites here are open for free.
