"Hoi An is my favouriteplace in the world to celebrate TET, second only to Hanoi," Tess Andrade, a tourist from the UK, revealed.
The festival has seen an abundance of cultural and sporting events including concerts, dance performance, tree planting ceremonies along with high speed boat races to name only a few of the spectacular events.
This year’s festival has attracted tens of thousands said Nguyen Thi Nguyet, a street food vendor in Hoi An's Tran Phu street, who said she is ever so thankful for one of the most profitable holiday seasons ever.
Traditional Tet dishes also brightened up the atmosphere while masses of people attended pagodas, churches and coffee shops, or took a peaceful stroll along the streets lined with red lanterns and beautiful flower arrangements.
