Those who are bored of hectic city life can choose Suoi Da (stone stream), a tourist site boasting primitive mountains, forests and streams in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province for a short weekend escape.

The site, also known as Suoi Tien (fairy stream) is located in Tan Hai Commune, Tan Thanh District. Tourists can take a bus/car/motorbike to get to the location which is only 80km from HCMC.

On the way to Vung Tau, tourists should notice the T-junction to Long Hai before turning left to find Chu Hai Church where there is a small path near the church leading to the stream. Those who worry about getting lost can ask locals for directions. You can start heading to the stream on Dinh Mountain from the spacious parking lot. Sandals or plastic flip flops and insect repellent are must-have items as the way to the site is quite murky and wet under the shade of bamboo and other such trees.

You can hear the sound of the stream from a distance and feel the cool breeze flowing through your hair and cheeks.
