Sofitel Saigon Plaza has new executive assistant manager

Frederik Deman has been appointed as executive assistant manager of the Sofitel Saigon Plaza, where he is responsible for the hotel’s day-to-day operations.

Deman, who has been with the Accor network for over seven years, previously was a Resident Manager at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra in Cambodia.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry and brings with him his interpersonal and leadership skills.

The Belgian native and an alumnus in Hotel Management from Technical Hotel School ‘Ter  Duinen’ Koksijde, Belgium started his career with an internship in 1987 at Hostellerie du Bas-Breau**, Barbizon, France.

He has held various key positions in five star hotels such as Sofitel Bruges, Sofitel Gent Belfort, Novotel Bucharest City Centre in Romania and Grand Hotel Royal Crown Mercure Brussels.
