The victim was a 39-year-old man who had visited Wuhan and returned to Hong Kong on January 23.
Previously, on February 2, the Philippines reported the first novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) death outside of China.
According to the latest update from Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, as of 9:00 am February 4, the epidemic was detected in 27 countries with the total number of cases of infection reaching 20,628, including over 20,438 in China.
The deadly virus killed 427 people, 425 of whom were in China. The two other deaths were reported in the Philippines and Hong Kong.
The coronavirus was detected in 190 patients outside of China. In Vietnam, the country has confirmed today the ninth nCoV patient. The victim is a 30-year-old man who is one of the eight workers sent to Wuhan, China for training. Earlier, four others tested positive for coronavirus.
Thailand has so far reported 19 cases, Australia 12 cases, Singapore 18 cases, the US 11 cases, Japan 20 cases, Malaysia 8 cases, South Korea 15 cases, France 6 cases, Vietnam 9 cases, Cambodia 1 case, Canada 4 cases, Germany 12 cases, Nepal 1 case, Sri Lanka 1 case, the UAE 5 cases, Finland 1 case, Hong Kong 15 cases, Macau 9 cases, Taiwan 10 cases, India 3 case, Sweden 1 case, Spain 1 case, Italy 2 cases, the UK 2 cases, Russia 2 cases, and the Philippines 2 cases.
