The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip retained its status as one of the world's best golf courses |
Sonia Huong Mai, general manager of The Bluffs, expressed that the firm was greatly honoured to receive such a reputable title. “The Bluffs was extremely fortunate to be welcomed by Asian Coast Development Ltd. (ACDL) who continually provided us the best resources and their full support to take our service concepts into reality.”
Michael Kelly, executive chair of ACDL, noted, “Our goal from the outset was to build a natural-looking, links-style golf course worth the global spotlight as well as to make the strip a world-class tourism destination and Vietnam’s entertainment capital.”
Despite its current standing among the world’s elite golf layouts, The Bluffs was undergoing a multi-faceted enhancement designed to further elevate its profile. Particularly, in addition to reducing the amount of vegetation that has overtaken some of the dunes and removing excessive turf between and around many of the tee boxes, the maintenance crew was working with US-based turf specialists from On Course Agronomic Consulting to refine the playing surfaces, especially the greens.
Only a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City lies the world's most glamorous golf course |

Previously, the spectacular seaside track, which is than two hours’ drive from Ho Chi Minh City, won the ‘World’s Best New Golf Course’ title at World Golf Awards. Additionally, the golf course served as the site of the Ho Tram Open, a $1.5-million Asian Tour event that enumerated several of the biggest names in the game, including Sergio Garcia, the champion.
