Sao Mai Group kicks off construction of 5-star Grand Mercure Phu Yen

Sao Mai Group, in collaboration with R&H Group and Accor, organised the ground-breaking ceremony of the 5-star Grand Mercure Phu Yen Hotel, marking its fourth project in the province.

Sao Mai Group has started the construction of Grand Mercure Phu Yen

The hotel covers an area of 2.2 hectares at District 7, Tuy Hoa city with the total investment capital of VND397 billion ($17.26 million). Its design took inspiration from Asian architecture. The construction of this 5-star international standard hotel is expected to be completed within 24 months.

Le Tan Ho, vice chairman of Phu Yen People’s Committee said that the investors need to co-operate with departments and localities to complete the remaining procedures to implement the construction on schedule.

Previously, Phu Yen People’s Committee worked with Sao Mai Group, Accor Hotels, and R&H Group to discuss investment in high-end resort tourism sector in the province.

To date, these groups are co-operating with each other to develop three projects, including Sao Mai Hung Dung Phu Yen Hotel, Viet My A&V Hotel and Resort Complex, and a Green Energy Tourism Urbanproject.

Sao Mai Group is a multidisciplinary economic group with strong development potential, operating in many fields such as real estate, renewable energy, aquaculture, and the processing of exported seafood, tourism services, as well as human resources training, and labour export to Japan via 16 member companies in charge of business activities.
