The Corporate Sustainability Index 2022 (CSI 2022) ceremony was organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development on December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Ministries of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
It was held to honour businesses that perform well in terms of the economy, society, and environmental protection. The ceremony was attended by Tran Tuan Anh, a politburo member and head of the Central Economic Commission and hundreds of delegates from leading departments, unions, and businesses in Vietnam.
This is the second consecutive year Phuc Khang Corporation has been listed among the Top 10 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam. In 2020, it was in the Top 100, but only one year later the corporation made a step forward to reach the top 10.
With a strategy to strengthen its internal resources and plans to integrate and elevate the business, Phuc Khang Corporation passed many rigorous rounds of testing, meeting 130 criteria in the CSI 2022 Index. This year's Index is divided into five parts: business overview, main economic, environmental, labour and social results, governance and environmental factors, and labour-society index.

Responding to the government's call for safe, flexible adaptation to create economic and social recovery and development momentum, Phuc Khang Corporation has implemented many strategies to maintain its internal resources in parallel with global integration to elevate its business.
The corporation had held regular training programmes such as the third internal training course for Phuc Khang’s staff on the journey of sustainable development that was given by Associate Professor Dr. Nirmal Kishnani, former dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Environment at the National University of Singapore, at Green Learning Week in Singapore.
It also conducts a gender equality assessment in the workplace and has a comprehensive digital transformation project.
The diversity and mindset that respects differences and promotes integration bring about a safe and free space to promote creativity, thereby providing a happy working environment for individuals to develop their careers and contribute to the sustainable development of the business.
With the advantage of being a green building developer for 13 years, the corporation is pursuing the mission of pioneering the creation of a better lifestyle and sustainability for the community and the environment under global green standards and has continued to focus on perfecting green products in the Vietnamese market.

Along with the honour of leading one of the 10 most sustainable businesses in Vietnam in 2022, CEO Luu Thi Thanh Mau has excelled as the only representative of Vietnam to receive the prestigious Asia-Pacific Leadership in Green Building award.
In 2022, Phuc Khang Corporation recorded positive results. Its three items for the Vietnam Lotus Village project were awarded the LOTUS certificate by the Vietnam Green Building Council.
The Vietnam Bamboo Convention Centre was also awarded a LOTUS SB Gold certificate, and Diamond Lotus Riverside was selected as one of two projects for the delegation of more than 60 representatives to participate at Vietnam Green Building Week 2022, held recently in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to strengthening corporate internal resources and promoting green products, Phuc Khang Corporation is dedicated to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
In 2022, it signed strategic cooperation agreements with many prestigious universities, such as the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, on a range of training courses to build innovation space according to green building standards, tree planting, and scholarships for students.
Phuc Khang Corporation continues to uphold its corporate responsibility towards the disadvantaged community. The corporation considers CSR as one of the pillars of its sustainable development strategy. The most recent example is the companion programme with the Red Star Entrepreneur Club in collaboration with the Will to Live Centre to organise the launch ceremony of Willtolive JSC – a social enterprise to support people with disabilities in a practical, effective, and sustainable way.
The right orientations and a methodical and step-by-step strategy have made Phuc Khang Corporation one of the top 10 businesses in Vietnam in terms of sustainable development.
