When it comes to sorting out tourist destinations in the central coast province of Khanh Hoa, the beautiful islands of Binh Ba and Binh Hung are often high on the list. However, as an increasingly big number of people have come to visit the two islands in Cam Ranh Bay, they are not as primitive as before.

Also in Cam Ranh Bay, there is an island called Robinson, which might remind you of Robinson Crusoe novel by Deniel Defoe. The name Robinson suggests the island is still in its primitive condition.

From HCMC, tourists can take a coach of any of Phuong Trang, Cuc Tung and Thuan Thao passenger transport companies to travel to Cam Ranh, and then go to Da Bac or Cam Lap beaches to take a boat ride to Robinson Island. It takes around one hour to travel from Da Bac Beach or around 15 minutes if departing from Cam Lap Beach.

On the way to the island, tourists can see the beautiful landscape of crystal-clear blue seawater and rocks.

What makes Robinson Island outstanding and attractive is the blue and clear seawater which allows tourists to see the seabed with white sand.

Intermixing with the blue sea and the white sand is the green hill covered with trees on the island and white large rocks around the beach.

The beach is a perfect destination for those wishing to escape from the noisy city life to indulge in a peaceful area and explore nature. But before traveling to the island, tourists are advised to carry along some food and drinking water since it is hard to find food and services providers there. And if they want to stay on the island overnight, tents should not be missed.
