Korea Kimchi Festival 2022 will be held in Vietnam in November 5 |
The festival will be held by the Korean-Vietnamese Cultural Exchange Centre on November 5 at the stadium of Hanoi University. The event will see the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corp; Embassy of the Republic of Korea, World Institute of Kimchi Hanyang University Korean Language Programme; KKF Foundation, BBQ Vietnam, among others.
In Vietnam, the festival combines many interesting activities, such as the Kimchi-making show, the Kimchi Cooking Contest of the Culinary Department's students, and K-pop performances. |
The Korea Kimchi Festival is a global project to promote kimchi from Korea to the world and put the superfood on the tables of the world.

The festival, which also celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, will also be held in New Malden, a popular residence of South Koreans in the UK. Thanks to the active cooperation of Kingston City, a South Korean group and a North Korean defector's group worked together to hold the event.
Kimchi from Hamgyeong-do and Pyongyang from North Korea, as well as Kimchi from Jeolla-do and Jeju-do in South Korea, will be on display.
