JW Marriott Hanoi, in partnership with the Korea Agro – Trade Center, yesterday hosted a gala dinner to promote Korean cuisine.

The Korean Cuisine Night presents authentic food to Vietnamese guests at JW Marriott Hanoi hotel for an unparalleled dining experience. The dinner reflects a desire on the part of the hotel to celebrate different food cultures and offer variety to individuals who are passionate about experiencing diversified gastronomic experiences in Hanoi.

The elaborate dinner will feature a variety of traditional dishes and drinks from Korea, including signature offerings like kimchi and bibimbap -- a signature dish that literally means ‘mixed rice’.  Other items such as sogogi sanjeok (beef and vegetables broiled on a skewer), sogogi mu guk (spicy Korean beef with radish soup) and many other dishes will be prepared by the JW Marriott Hanoi team using the freshest and most authentic ingredients.

As well as the sumptuous food offerings, the dinner will offer distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of Korea in Vietnam, the chance to relax in the stylish surrounds of JW Marriott Hanoi.

On welcoming guests, executive chef Brendon Partridge of JW Marriott Hanoi shared:  “Korea has a rich culinary heritage, with food of a very distinct character and this is an opportunity for us to bring diverse, international standard culinary experiences to the Vietnamese community.  We are looking forward to further opportunities to bring the world and its many different flavours to Hanoi.”

The Korea-Agro-Trade Centre Hanoi has organised several Korean cuisine-related activities in Vietnam before. It is hoped that this occasion marks the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between JW Marriott Hanoi and K-Food.
