The two female magicians will stage 10 performances at Hanoi’s Friendship Cultural Palace in Hoan Kiem District between May 28 and June 1, and six others at Lan Anh Outdoor Stage in District 10 and Gia Dinh Park Circus in Go Vap District in HCMC from June 2 to 14.

“Zen Magic” is a combination of aerial art and magic. Ai & Yuki will put on their signature performances such as going through the walls, teleport, flying, and performances with swords.

In 2007, they were invited to the world famous Magic Castle and then were nominated in the category for “Stage Magic” at the Magic Castle Awards in 2008. That same year, they produced their first American venture at the San Gabriel Theater in Los Angeles and were featured for three episodes on the “Masters of Illusions” television show on American FOX television channel in 2009.

The duo arrived in Vietnam last Friday and visited the SOS Children’s Villages Vietnam in Hanoi two days later to stage free performances and present 150 gifts for children.

Truong Nhuan, representative of the organizers of the “Zen Magic” program in Vietnam, said funds raised from the sale of 1,000 tickets for the first show of Ai & Yuki in Hanoi would be donated to disadvantaged children.
