The Japanese Culture Week included a wide range of activities to popularize the image of Japan and its people, and the Viet Nam-Japan friendship.

Japan has ranked first among foreign investors in Nghe An for years,  notably the $1 billion project of Kobe Steel, Ltd in the Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Quynh Luu district.

Nghe An also signed agreements with Japanese investors to deploy four projects worth a total of $25 million in the fields of solar energy, automobile parts, photoelectric equipment, and vocational training.

In addition, Nghe An is cooperating with Japan’s Nekken Sekkei Civil Engineering, Ltd (NSC) to establish a master plan for Vinh City by 2020 with a vision toward 2030, and a seaport building company from Japan to design the Cua Lo deep water port.
