Israel to kick off Agritech 2018

Israel’s largest agritech event, the 20th International Agricultural Exhibition and Conference, will take place at Tel Aviv Convention Centre (Israel) on May 8-10, 2018, offering rare opportunities for agricultural players around the world, including Vietnam.

The 20th International Agricultural Exhibition and Conference (Agritech 2018) is an international professional exhibition that offers a meeting place for manufacturers, researchers, investors, academics, purchasers, and decision-makers representing both local and international interests.

Those invited to participate include mayors, heads of municipalities and rural communities, CEOs, engineers and technicians, maintenance managers, consultants, regulatory bodies, project developers, safety managers, entrepreneurs, and other individual and organised stakeholders.

Every Agritech event attracts thousands of individuals and professionals from around the world, including from Vietnam, from across the full spectrum of agricultural fields, including agroecology, agricultural machinery, biotechnology, floriculture, greenhouses, marketing and export services, plant propagation material, plasticulture, poultry, research and development, small ruminants, turnkey projects and knowledge transfer, and software and hardware.

Participants will also include those working in aquaculture, fertilisers and chemicals, fork lifts and handling equipment, livestock and dairy, farming, irrigation and water management, organic agriculture, plant protection, post-harvest treatment, precise agriculture, rural development, and veterinary.

At Agritech 2018, participants will have opportunities to learn about solutions for agricultural challenges, find partners for projects and business ventures, discover technologies that will address their most pressing problems, and raise their public profile and build their brand image.

Besides, participants will also be able to meet colleagues, solution providers, potential customers, and other decision-makers on a global level. They will also be able to advance their career through networking and education, and leverage their time in a single, cost-effective forum for professionals in the industry.

According to the organisers, Agritech 2018 will also house conferences on the unique challenges posed by global warming, climate change, water scarcity, and other factors contributing to increased desertification. At the conferences, experts will share their research, insights, and practices to create durable solutions for sustainable agriculture in arid and semi-arid areas.
