Heart Beat braces for Pulse#9 music party on Friday

Heart Beat, a hub of DJs from different countries, is preparing for their Pulse#9 music party featuring DJs from Italy, Ukraine, Germany and Vietnam at The Observatory in HCMC’s District 4 on October 2 from 9 p.m. till late.

Pulse is a smaller, more spontaneous variant of Heart Beat’s main events. A highlight of this time’s program is a performance of Italian DJ Marco Lenzi born in Livorno, Italy and raised in Rome, where as a teenager he got into clubbing, record collecting, and mastered his DJ technique.

Marco moved to London in ‘88 and got into the acid house music scene. He was at the heart of two of the best record stores in London – Silverfish and Eukatech.

Marco is a techno veteran who has been producing, remixing and playing all over the world for the best part of two decades, taking his minimal and funky sound to the masses. In 2008, Marco was voted number 49 in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ in the world.

The show also features popular faces of Heart Beat, including local DJ/producer B.A.X, German DJ/producer/founder of Heart Beat, Chris Wolter and DJ OKO from Ukraine.

The Observatory is located at 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in HCMC’s District 4.

There is a free entrance from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. and those who come afterwards will be charged VND150,000 each. Audiences can also listen to Heart Beat’s latest tunes at their website of www.heartbeatsaigon.com.
