Free German Film Week to kick off this week

The 2014 German Film Festival will be held in Hanoi this week, showcasing numerous successful German movies.

The films include some which were already presented at the 2013 German Film Festival in 7 big cities across the country last September as well as some which were popular with the Vietnamese audience, namely “Oh Boy!,” “Dreileben Trilogy,” “Forget me not,” “Color of the Ocean,” and four fairy tales of the Grimm Brothers “Snow White,” “Frog King,” Mother Holle” and “Puss in Boots” in the latest film adaption.

They will be screened in German, Spanish and French with English and Vietnamese subtitles.

The event will take place at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc in Ba Dinh District from February 21 to March 1.

Admission is free.
