Of the figure, VND1 billion is sourced from Hue Tourism Vocational College and Hue Relics Conservation Centre.
The project aims to support the province develop tourism sustainably, enhance competitive edge, preserve and promote cultural heritage values, especially the Hue Relics Complex.
Earlier, Regional Council Poitou Charentes also funded VND500 million to build the Guol, a kind of communal house of the Co To ethnic group in order to meet tourists’ demand. Spanning 70 square metres - Guol House was built on an area of 1,500 square metres and put into operation earlier this year.
Eco-tourism in Hue is now very attractive to visitors with a number of famous destinations such as Lang Co Bay which is recognised as one of the world’s 30 most beautiful and Tam Giang –Cau Hai lagoon- the largest one in South East Asia.
